Jaqui's Daily Blog

Thursday 1st November

The Daily Blog according to Jack:

Today, we found out that our Nan had got a free DVD voucher from the library for helping with "the Summer Reading Challenge". So we all agreed to help decide the film she should get so we could watch it in the evening.

But as me and Hazel both have very different opinions on films (me thinking that funny action films are the best and Hazel thinking romance films are the way forward), there was quite a bit of conflict. We ended up with a choice between 2 films and, amazingly, I won!!! So later on we will be watching the film "I am Number Four"!!!

The Daily Blog according to Hazel:

Yess... he won... I dont get why? Normally I win! Anyway, we had a reallyyy good dayy today! Before coming to Nanna's we stopped off at Mummy Mcgrane's, then when we got here we realised we had the dentist! I don't really like going to the dentist so I was a bit worried! But it got better as we went shopping and I got a new jumper ( a reallyyy warm one!) and some new ugs! Yayyy:) all in all today has been great, and I am excited for our sausage casserole dinner later :)

The Daily Blog according to Me:

Hmmm, whose idea was it to do the whole Choose-A-DVD-At-The-Library thing? That'll be me, then. And, because Jack won, we will be watching "an explosive, suspense-filled ride that will take you to the edge of your seat and beyond."  As if Hallowe'en wasn't enough.

And why does Hazel add so many letters to the end of her words? If something is "reallyyyy warm" is it better than than if it were only "really warm"?

But, hey, reading the blurb on the back of the DVD again, I see that it's about "an extraordinary teen."  Eat your heart out, Dreamworks Films, I have not one but two of them, right here, right now...

Mmm, was it because there were '24 men kicking a ball' that it didn't end entirely satisfactorily???

Jaqui I think your grandchildren are very lucky. You have spurred me on to write a letter to Amelia who like Hazel is away from home for the first time. 💕
